Content of the managerial coach training

Integrate the differences between manager and coach

  • Know the role of a coach
  • Identify the attitudes and behaviors of the managerial coach
  • Understand the process of coaching
  • Identify when to be a manager and when to be a managerial coach
  • Know the "intervention levels" of the managerial coach
  • Coach ethically, set limits and respect them

Adopt a managerial coach posture

  • Be aware of your posture as a manager: self-diagnostic
  • Adopt unconditional confidence in the evolutionary capacities of your colleagues
  • Become aware of your biases, your filters and your interpretations
  • Develop active listening, without judgments or advice

Conduct a coaching interview

  • Practice the GROW process
  • Be aware of the profiles for which the GROW is effective
  • Adapt the conduct of your coaching interviews according to the personality of your coachee
  • Develop powerful questioning and reframing techniques
